Can i have permission to continue with this stratagus game??

Hi, i want to ask you if know about this stratagus past game, and want to ask you if i have permission to use it and continue development, do some extra stuff by myself...

The game looks abandoned. I don't see any reason why you couldn't continue it. But, I think it was be hard to update it to Stratagus 2.3. It might be easier to start with Wargus 2.3, and import the units.

Yes is hard to update to stratagus 2.3, some functions are not working in the current, this is from stratagus 2.2?? i think will do a different port using same units and different gameplay, maybe some extra stuff..

It is licensed under the GPLv2, so there isn't any problem with continuing it.

Is an idea, but is hardly to me do it alone, for example im having trouble modifying ui to the wargus style:

Do not worry - I had the same situation when I've started to develop Doom Wars. In fact, I didn't have access to Internet on my computer, the only Internet was on my mobile phone (over GPRS and very expensive). The only source of information was /scripts folder in Stratagus directory and Wargus Lua scripts.
I've completed Doom Wars v1.0 in 1.5 months. I believe that you could accomplish the same goal:)

Is not about worries, is more about asking help for you to get some stuff complete, most hardly are for me ui and the animations, can you check this file to know what im doing wrong...
