Should the ballista's be repairable by the workers?

It is possible, but currently the repair behavior is bugged: AI workers will follow the damaged ballistas, trying to repair them. Still, it is possible to define repair spell, but it will be separate from worker's default repair ability.

Yes, I intended them (and gnomish caravans) to be repairable; that they aren't was an oversight of mine. I fixed this and uploaded this change to the GitHub.

Generally, all mechanical units and buildings should be repairable, unless workers have a problem reaching them (i.e. ships that can't enter coastal tiles).

That behavior seems appropriate to me. At least I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary when testing repairable mechanical units.

I like the new cave tileset. It would be interesting to be able to make a railway for a mining cart to get more gold from a mine with less farm use.

I wonder if a mod should be made which instead of including graphics and such, it would merely refer to data in a wargus directory, so that wargus units, maps, and tilesets could be used in wyrmsun.

Here's how stumps can give archers an advantage:

2 archers defeat 10 soldiers. If morale was implemented, this might not happen.
One effect low morale ought to have is units going berserk and attacking anything near them (friend, foe, or stump).
