Bos Wars 2.7 is released!

BOS Wars is a RTS game that features a dynamic rate based economy. Energy is produced by power plants and magma gets pumped from hot spots. Units and structures are also built at a continuous rate.

I tried to make the instructions as clear as possible, I didn't upload the whole shebang because it was too large. I just don't get why whoever runs the Bos Wars website hasn't made a windows version more easily available.

We could release our own version of Bos Wars for Windows, although the binary you provided doesn't have the MSVC dlls imbedded.

There's always been a strong undercurrent of Windows hate within the Stratagus Dev community.

Just to clarify, is BOS Wars 2.7 now able to be run on everyone's windows computers? If it isn't I would be glad to help correct that.

Could you compile a release binary? Right now it requires debug libraries.

I am so sorry to make you dizzy guys, but I don't even know how to install bos wars 2.7 on a Linux dual boot PC.
I just use the software center, and it is outdated

Ok, I'm sorry that I have been a bit spotty with this. I don't know if I will ever be super reliable, but what if the debug dlls were to be included in the links? Would that be permissible, in my mind this would work fine. But I could be missing a vital piece of information about the subject. Someone else in the forum mentioned that they could be easily found by Googling, but no one posted a download link. I'm in no position to criticize this, it simply makes me wonder if there is an issue with this solution.
