How to generate game data for the latest stratagus from github?

I tried with WarCraft2 and Aleona's Tales data which support stratagus 2.3.0
but it doesn't work. the latest stratagus's version is 2.4.1
what's the key point that
how could I change the code or the game data to make them compatible?
I really want to study the latest code.
