It seems after Stratagus 2.3, cybermind would like to port Stratagus to SDL2. He suggested calling it version 3.0. So, I'm dedicating this thread to the discussion of the next major release.

Rebranding - To eliminate association with previous attempts at creating Aleona's Tales I'm thinking about rebranding for the future Stratagus 3.0 release. I'm considering renaming the game Timeless Tales, to maintain the Tales in the title. I also think it might be worth considering rebranding the engine itself to Stratagus Core. So we refer to Stratagus as the entire project (including games) and Core as being the engine itself.

Addition to Stratagus 3.0 goals:
-Moving to the newest version of Guichan(it should be ported on SDL2 too)
-Porting Stratagus to Android
-Moving to C++11 codebase
That is clever. We'll have to package it with the next release.
