Fixed the blacksmith tent perspective, which was garbled.

Warcraft 2 style wasteland tileset:

works well with all Wyrmsun and Aleona's Tales sprites. Just credit Daniel Harris "Hyptosis"

A crystal under CC-BY, made by NeoZ7 (http://neoz7.deviantart.com/art/NEW-Iso ... -487740820)

compatible with WC2 perspective. Can be used as resource, to make crystal mountains or just as a random sprite.

I had seen that one before, it's pretty cool. Though I'm not sure if they would look out of place in Wyrmsun (given the colors used).

Looks very nice, specially with the recolor you did. The perspective looks isometric rather than top-downish, but it could still be fitting to use in a Stratagus game.

Yup. Wyrmsun uses somewhat different tileset style and palette from Warcraft 2. But I guess you can always recolor it. And one will have to recolor it anyway, otherwise the palette will get garbled.

Free sounds

it was especially hard to find compatible replacement for explosion, which should chains nicely in spells like fireball. In the end I've made explosion9.wav, using two GPL2 sounds from Warzone2010. That game also has a lot of nice textures: https://github.com/saniv/free-game-art/ ... 10/sprites

Wesnoth includes a few high quality animated sprites, suitable for RTS games:

some directions are missing, but still suitable for an RTS game.

They don't seem to have the right perspective for a top-down game.

Also, the rocks on that screenshot could use some fixing for more smooth transitions between adjacent tiles.
