Stratagus

I loaded up Wargus today. Played one match, for about an hour and a half.

My favourite thing about Stratagus is when it crashes, without warning, just a few moments away from winning a match. Without any error logs, without any error messages, any option to debug, anything.

A friend of mine had similar crashes to what Big Daddy described. I imagine then that they could be solved by deleting the preferences.lua file? The problem is that then he would lose his campaign progress, though. What is it in particular that happens to the file that causes crashes?

No idea. The configuration file somehow gets a corrupt setting which crashes the game. The symptoms are the game crashing at the start of campaign game and at the end of a game.

You can hand edit the file to restore your campaign progression (do it when stratagus is NOT launched).
