Stratagus

While browsing SourceForge I stumbled upon this project called Dark Nova, which is an open source StarCraft engine recreation. While it has apparently been abandoned at a rather early stage of development, it seems that the authors were able to implement a lot of features.

According to the project FAQ, Dark Nova was developed as a tool to create advanced mods and TCs for StarCraft.

Interesting, maybe if someone else want to, they can continue with it, and make it fully compatible with stratagus 2.3..
