As most of you should know, Wargus 2.3 will hopefully include support for custom campaigns, game types, and mods.
I reckon it would be good if WIP were restructured in the following ways:
- Loading a campaign would just load the required files from the WIP mod folder. These files would be unloaded when you exit the campaign.
- Warcraft 1 (Horde)
- Warcraft 1 (Alliance)
- Loading the gametype would load all the WIP files and lock the maps to only those that support WIP.
- Generic WIP Gametype
Mods - The mods would be things you'd want to influence other campaigns/gametypes. I can only think of Faces of War, which would override some of the hero graphics.
I'm sure you guys can see the benefit of doing it this way in regards to interoperability with vanilla Wargus.
