IMO walls of Aleona's Tale fits well for War1 orc walls

So I had an idea for the dungeon maps, and cybermind seems to say it's possible. We can use an xBRZ enlarged image of a WC1 map and place it as a unit on a map with rocks underneath the image of cave walls, and we can create destructible door units at a slightly higher draw level which can be attacked and destroyed. Effectively giving the appearance of a dungeon tileset by using a single unit for the map instead of a bunch of tiles, and a few units for destructibles like doors.

Make sure that (0, 0) is inaccessible by other units, or just make it non-solid. Don't forget to assign this unit to neutral player to avoid interaction with other players. You can change this unit's type to "fly" and make it's DrawLevel property very small, so it won't overlap other units on screen"

Like the spearthrower but the head looks a little bit too bright for my taste.

Here's a different version, ...
Edit: I updated this file with the team color issues fixed and the alignment adjusted:

I think this is too dark. But it's good to have variety. Eventually maybe the WIP would randomly select different versions to display.

Looks much better in my oppinion. Which tools do you use to create sprite sheets?

For drawing, and palette editing, I mostly use 'Jasc Paint Shop Pro Version 4.14' which I purchased in the 90's but still works on windows 7, though it does a poor job of certain things like rotations. I think it's available online, but it's basically the same thing as paint.net which you can get here: http://www.getpaint.net/ And I've used MS paint in the past.

For working with layers, arranging sprite sheets and tiles, and sometimes for rotations and palette editing, I use this:
http://www.humanbalance.net/gale/files/ ... freeus.exe

For decreasing color depth, rotations, and testing tile seams, I use this:

For scaling I use this:
