This is a video of the second tutorial mission. It demonstrates the new briefing and AI which will be used in Timeless Tales. At 1:15 I find my allied base, and at the 4:30 mark said ally saves me. At 6:25 we launch an attack against the enemy base.

Nice. Some time ago I've ripped art from seven kingdoms: https://github.com/saniv/free-game-art/ ... n-kingdoms
it has units like two headed ogre and ships, together with portraits. You can probably use it to replace those badly animated creatures from Aleona Tales
Although I believe making an MPQ file compatible with vanilla game would be better. That way several engines could be using the same resources, which can be updated separately. And MPQ support for Stratagus should improve loading times and game footprint.

The art is still a mixture of the old assets from Aleona's Tales and Wyrmsun. Is that temporary? For example, the gold mine is from Aleona's Tales, although Wyrmsun has a nice gold mine sprite.

Yup. New art will replace the old Aleona sprites.
