I'm not familiar with your device, and it's been a while since I installed wargus, but I think you are supposed to use some sort of extraction tool, maybe "wartool" to extract the data from your war 2 files and to convert it for use with wargus. I thought there was a step by step guide to ...

Which version do you have? I thought wargus only worked with the DOS version of WC2.

I would like to be able to get away from the usual size of naval units, and have larger ones. Not mere rafts, but large boats where only part of them would be boardable, a mid-section for example, so that the boat would have to face the shore sideways or a dock sideways to be boardable. One reason why there's not as much buzz as you'd like is that it's not really widely advertized, just search for it and you'll only find a few mentions. Most people have probably never heard of it. It's also sort of a niche engine designed for a relatively specific type of game, and there's competit...

I like the new cave tileset. It would be interesting to be able to make a railway for a mining cart to get more gold from a mine with less farm use.

But if the sounds are specially designed for a particular project, maybe it's ok to post in a project specific location?

I suppose your other question may be answered differently depending on the project.

How about making some of the sounds you think would improve some of the games, and posting them? The griffons/dragons needs some sort of wing flapping sound. I'd like to see what kind of sword attack sounds you can make.

Install the WIP (Wargus improvement project)..

In Wc2, the level reflected the number of upgrades the unit had active. In wyrmsun, the units can progress levels through gaining experience. I don't think experience has a real function in wargus .

1). Someone else will have to answer this one.

2). main menu -> options -> disable messages

3). Designate which buttons appear for which human units/buildings in scripts/human/buttons.lua

4). Edit the hero's buttons to include the spell buttons via the method in number 3

5). See number 3
